Hakka-Life 客器客氣 is a pottery studio from Taiwan founded in 2013. They mainly produce ceramic tea sets and coffee drippers and cups, "To design practical living wares from small details in daily life" is their design concept.
The shape of this dripper is inspired from wild lily flower. With its 45 degree dripper angle, this dripper is taller than regular 60 degree drippers and the coffee bed will also be pulled higher and more concentrate. In this structure, water path will be longer and so does the contact time with coffee ground, result in a higher extraction rate and intense flavour.
Six long ribs and six grooves (the joining seams) run through the dripper from bottom to top, creating an air channel for this dripper.
