Hakka-Life 客器客氣 is a pottery studio from Taiwan founded in 2013. They mainly produce ceramic tea sets and coffee drippers and cups, "To design practical living wares from small details in daily life" is their design concept.
Kiriko (切子) is a Japanese traditional processing method for glass. After processing, the glass will have different patterns and it looks amazing with light's reflection. Inspired by this traditional craft, Kiriko Dripper use gradually changing glazing colour to imitate the pattern in kiriko glass, and the colour changes will be more obvious under the light.
On functionality side, Kiriko Dripper use diamond-shaped ribs to ensure the air flow within dripper. Different than common seen continuous line ribs, each "diamond" rib act as an individual support to filter, and multiple ribs will create an air pocket area in dripper. The density of rib is high on the bottom part and a bit lower on upper part of this dripper, and this will create some differences in flow rate.
In my opinion, the flow rate of this dripper is on medium to fast side, and the "teeth" on the bottom hole ensure the filter won't block the hole even in the late stage of the brew.
Fits with 01 size cone-shaped filter.
