Traditional Nel Drip made by KONO.

The main feature of KONO cloth filter is it consist of three pieces of flannel cloth, while most of the other brand's only has two. Three pieces cloth provide more space so coffee ground has more room to expand during blooming and brewing. In addition, it also reduces the height of coffee bed. These elements help increase the extraction efficiency for a clear and deep flavours.

KONO cloth filter also improves on weaving method. The normal way of weaving is one warp crosses one weft, but in KONO cloth filter, one warp will crosses two weft (see the picture below). In this way, the density of thread will be higher and you can enjoy a clean and rich flavour cup.

You can clean and reuse the filter until you feel it started to clog or the tastes in the cup became different than usual. Then you will need to change the filter. You can find the replacement filter here.

Handling instruction:

Before first time use, soak the filter into hot water by 3 minutes. Every time before and after use, rinse the filter with hot water to remove the coffee stain and oil. Use your hand to remove the coffee ground that left in the filter gently, do not rub and twist the filter. After wash, keep it wet and put it in a seal container, then keep it in refrigerator.

Material: Flannel (filter), aluminium (handle)
