What is the ultimate form of cloth filter/nel drip? The Nel is showing us one of the possibilities.

The shape of The Nel cloth filter looks like a reserved dome, and if you look at the stitching line carefully, you will find the cloth filter looks like a base ball that cut in half. This shape is the main feature of The Nel cloth filter. With this unique dome shape, the users will get a low coffee bed and coffee ground will have larger space to extend during blooming, which leads to more even extraction.

The inventor of The Nel, which is also a roaster and cafe owner came out with the dome shaped idea with long time practices but found it too hard to make it out. So he went to his tailor friend for help, and with these two craftsmen's hard work, we see the birth of this beautiful cloth filter.

This cloth filter works well with medium and dark roast coffee. Try it and enjoy a full flavour and body cup.

You can clean and reuse the filter until you feel it started to clog or the tastes in the cup became different than usual. Then you will need to change the filter. You can find the replacement filter here.

Handling instruction:

Before first time use, soak the filter into hot water by 3 minutes. Every time before and after use, rinse the filter with hot water to remove the coffee stain and oil. Use your hand to remove the coffee ground that left in the filter gently, do not rub and twist the filter. After wash, keep it wet and put it in a seal container, then keep it in refrigerator.

Material: Flannel (filter), stainless steel (handle)
